Applied Courses and Things to Do for Summer Internship
1. Health Screening
(Lung X-ray, Hepatitis Markers, Hemogram, Biochemistry)
2. Vaccination
(Getting hepatitis A and hepatitis B vaccines if the doctor deems it necessary)
3. Occupational Health and Safety Training
(To be taken from Public Education Center)
Note1: Periodic Examination Form (Annex-2) must be filled and submitted to the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Health Sciences with 2 copies.
Note2: If any of the above-mentioned procedures are not performed, the hospital will not accept students.
4. Steps to be Followed in Filling the Summer Internship Form
A) FIRST STEP
a) Three copies are made by filling in the computer environment.
b) Student's signature
c) Signature of the Unit Trustee (must be stamped)
d) Signature of the Consultant Instructor
e) Signature of the Dean of the Faculty
B) STEP TWO
a) Three photographs, provided that they are pasted in the upper right corner of the internship forms
b) The 1st copy signed and approved by the hospital will stay in the hospital where the internship will be held, and the 2nd copy will remain with the student who will do the internship. The third copy will also be delivered to the trustee of the Faculty of Health Sciences (with a copy of your identity card and a document showing whether you have any entry from SGK).
NOTE3: After the students have followed the above-mentioned methods and filled them in completely, they have to submit the summer internship form within the first two (2) weeks following the start of the spring semester classes.
NOTE4: Since the student's insurance entries will be made, they will only be able to do internships on the specified dates.
