The Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation aims to protect, improve and develop the physical well-being of healthy and patient individuals. Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation covers different specific areas such as neurological, orthopedic, cardiopulmonary, geriatric, musculoskeletal, pediatric rehabilitation, rheumatological rehabilitation, sports health, obstetric and gynecological physiotherapy and rehabilitation. Graduates receive the ″physiotherapist″ title. Physiotherapists are health professionals who evaluate individuals and plan and implement the appropriate treatment program after the diagnosis of a specialist physician in all these fields.
The Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department lasts for 4 years and the language of instruction is Turkish. Physiotherapists work in public and private hospitals, medical centers, exercise counseling centers, gyms, nursing homes, wellness centers, special education and rehabilitation centers, training and research hospitals.
Our department, which is not active yet, has one Doctoral Lecturer and six Research Assistants.
