PROGRAM EDUCATION OBJECTIVES

The program objectives of the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation are as follows:

-To be sensitive to the health problems of healthy, sick and disabled individuals, to have professional ethics and responsibility awareness,  
-Gained the ability to work multidisciplinary, 
--Renewing himself/herself with his/her researcher and clinician identity, following current evaluation and treatment strategies, 
-To be able to use evidence-based physiotherapy practices in the clinical decision-making process by following current literature and clinical practices,
-Performs the most appropriate physiotherapy assessment for the purpose of movement preservation and development,
-Develops and implements individual-specific treatment strategies and programs for movement and function disorders in all populations,
-Ensuring the maintenance and improvement of functional independence and performance, 
-Performs physiotherapy and rehabilitation practices by determining individual-specific needs in order to reduce activity limitations and improve quality of life, 
-To be able to use and apply rehabilitation knowledge in the best way to ensure the general well-being of the patient and healthy individual,
-To train physiotherapists who have the knowledge, application skills and ability specific to each field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation methods from physical, social and psychological perspectives in improving individual, family and community health.
